This is Hedy Keller

She will be a recurring character of Badirfilay and she's almost 50% my sister :iconadacross: 's and mine.

For the name, my sister was inspired by Hedy Lamarr (a great woman everyone should know).

-Hedy was a character my sister had in mind.
-We made her take part of Badirfilay universe.
-Together, we created a personality and appearance for her.
-I designed and drew the final appearance (the one you see)
-My sister approved xD

For a reason, I wanted her to have a kind of Pre-Raphaelite look. That cold-deadly-classic beauty Pre-Raphaelite muses used to have.
So I was quite inspired by Elisabeth Siddal, a bit by !TaylorSaville, and concretely by "Mariana" of J-E.Millais.


And I added Steampunk stuff, of course :D
And doing the velvet texture was lots of fun too.

My sister Ada (Hedy's former mother) liked the final design a lot, so I can feel satisfied ^_^

I love how she looks so austere but with a sexy touch...
Her expression is severe and aethereal, reminds me of a matron.
Uniforms and steampunk stuff are definitely your cup of tea, I love your works!

I'm not found of the caracter herself, but I have to admit your drawing and the pre-raphaelite look you gave to her are absolutly awesome ! Not to mention her costume: as incredible as always. Your sister and you did a great job ! 8D

Just out of curiosity... Which is the reason why you aren't fond of the character? I mean, if you like the look and the dress... There isn't much more said about her, I haven't talked about her personality, role in the comic, etc. So I think one can't judge her a lot, except for the looks. There, it's just the design.
In any case, thanks! I'm glad, at least, the preraphaelite look was a succeed! xD That was my purpose :)

You're right. ^^" It is a bit hard to explain... Just, you know.. A sort of cold feeling that is spreading from her that I don't like. Exactly like when you meet a person: you like some characters at the first look... And not some others ! XD

Ok I understand... Well, it's good you feel that (somehow) 'cause Hedy isn't that kind of friendly person you want to deal with. So I imagine I wouldn't feel really comfortable if I met her. Yes, she spreads something cold, as you say.
